The Weave series derives its title from the way these paintings weave through one another, in to unplanned tangents of exploring. 
I like to think of these break away paintings - new directions. They can often bridge two series by sharing technique or palette but still seem to stand uniquely on their own. 

They are an explorations of drip and line, gravity and direction and vibrant color play. My inner child is very present when I am painting these works.
